Support

Write to support@hushday.app and a person will answer, usually within two working days. There is no ticket system and no bot.

Reporting a bug? More → About → Send feedback fills in your app version, device and a random installation id. That is all we need, and it contains nothing about what you logged.

Common questions

Where can I get Hushday?

Hushday is coming soon to the App Store for iPhone (iOS 16.4 or later; the widget needs iOS 17). Write to us if you would like to hear when it is out.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up, no password and no email address to hand over. Hushday works the moment you open it, and your entries never leave the phone unless you back them up or export them.

How do I log an attack quickly?

Tap Start attack on Today, use the Hushday widget on your Home Screen or Lock Screen, or say "Start a migraine in Hushday" to Siri. Everything else – how bad it was, where it hurt, what you took – can be added later, from the attack or from the calendar.

Why does a day show as "not logged"?

Hushday never assumes a day was fine because nothing was written down. Mark a day headache-free from Today, the calendar or the evening check-in, and it counts as one; otherwise it stays "not logged", in the app and in the report.

How do I get my data out?

More → Your data → Export, import and delete. Export your entries as JSON or CSV at any time, including after a trial or subscription ends. PDF reports are created in the Report tab and need Hushday Pro.

Do I have to connect Apple Health?

No. If you turn it on in More, Hushday saves your headaches to Apple Health and reads your period days and sleep, so you do not enter them twice. You choose each data type in Apple's own dialogue, and you can take it back at any time in the Health app.

I am getting a new iPhone. How do I move my diary?

Turn on iCloud backup in More → Your data before you switch. On the new phone, open More → Your data → Restore from iCloud. The backup lives in your own iCloud Drive, so it moves with your Apple account and not through us. Period days from Apple Health are not in the backup – they come back from Apple Health itself.

How do I cancel, and what happens to my entries?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so they are cancelled in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Everything you logged stays on the phone after cancelling, and logging, reminders and exports keep working.

I paid but Hushday says I have not.

More → Restore purchases, with the same Apple Account you bought it on. If it still does not appear, send us the date of purchase and we will sort it out.

Does Hushday tell me what is wrong with me, or what to take?

No. It shows observations drawn from your own entries, always with the number of days behind them. It does not diagnose, and it will never suggest a dose or a change of treatment. Those are conversations for your doctor, and the report exists to make them easier.

How do I delete everything?

More → Your data → Export, import and delete → Delete all data removes your entries from the device; deleting the app removes them as well. Headaches you saved to Apple Health stay there – remove them in the Health app if you want them gone too.

Something is wrong and you need a person

support@hushday.app. Tell us what you expected and what happened instead. If the app crashed, the version and device from More → About help a lot.

Hushday is not a medical service. If you are having a medical emergency, contact your local emergency number or your doctor.
